Kawika Kahaipo and Jack Johnson sat down in the backyard to play some music and talk story about Hawai’i and how we can come together to celebrate and preserve what is best about the islands.
Jack is more than a singer/songwriter, he is a concerned husband and father who lives out a life that gives back to society, the land and the ocean. Â The Kokua Hawai’i Foundation (founded by Jack and his wife Kim) has been a tremendous voice for conservation and change in the Hawaiian Islands especially with our younger generation. Â In our time with Jack, he and Kawika discuss topics that are close to their hearts such as changing community through educating our children and the preservation of land and resources that will benefit future generations.

I think Jack Johson is one of the most amazing guys to look up to. He is so focused on keeping a clean environment and he doesn’t just speak it he does it. He lives the lifestyle and doesnt preach it. A true leader and hero to the earth
The Kokua Hawaii Foundation is a wonderful organization. Thank you for sharing all your knowledge and reaching out to teach the children how to preserve our beautiful planet. Happy Earth Day!
I am a proudly brazilian fan of this great artist, and everything he does always have some important meaning for the world population minds!!! Congruatulations Jack. and everyone that supports you all over the way…
